Description

Trade Agreement:    North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), Canada – Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), Canada – Columbia Free Trade Agreement

(CCFTA),  the Canada – Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP).

Tendering Procedures:               All interested suppliers may submit a bid

Competitive Procurement Strategy:   Lowest/Lower Compliant Bid

Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No

Nature of Requirements:             Fire Extinguisher Inspection and Maintenance or the rental of various containers and service for pickup and dispose of refuse and recyclable materials on a regular schedule and as and when required for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Academy-Depot Division, F Division Headquarters Building, Regina Laboratory Building and Air Services Building located in Regina, Saskatchewan, in accordance with the requirements, specifications, terms and conditions detailed herein.

Security Requirement:   There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.

Evaluation Procedures:  Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation.  An evaluation team composed of representatives of Canada will evaluate the bids.

Basis of Selection:

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

Debriefings:

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process.  Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.

The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
