Contract Non-Medevac Air Charter Service is required by Health Canada (HC), First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (NIHB) Saskatoon, Saskacthewan.

The scope of the work comprises the Contractor to provide Air Charter Services to eligible First Nations people and physicians flying in and out of northern communtities of Saskatchewan.

All aircraft must be registered in accordance with Transport Canada and posess a current Domesetic License issued by the Canadian Transportation Agency and adhere to Commercial Air Charter service regulations.

The Contractor must have the capacity to provide a minimum of three (3) fixed wing aircraft and one (1) rotary wing (helicopter) at all times during the period of the contract.

The Contractor must provide aircrew and associated maintenance service in their proposal throughout the duration of the contract. Each pilot-in-command must be qualified in accordance with the Canadian Air Regulations, Air Taxi or Commmuter Operarions and have flown a minimum of 250 hours as pilot-in-command in the specified aircraft.

The period of the contract is for two (2) years, with three (3) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions.

This procurement is set aside under the Federal government’s Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business.

This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under provisions each has for set asides for small and minority businesses. Futher to Article 1802 Agreeement on Internal Trade (AIT),  applies this procurement.

As per the Integrity Provisions under scetion 01 of Standard Instructions 2003 and 2004 bidders must provide a list of all owners and/or Directors and other associated information as required.
